Automatic Recycling Unit
PUPR
The Automatic Recycling Unit (PUPR) is a student-engineered solution to streamline plastic waste sorting using sensors, motors, and microcontrollers.
Developed by Sebastian U. Martinez Vega (#145241), Yan Cruz Burgos (#136520), Christian Velez Torres (#130980), and Marcos A. Vargas Hernandez (#139406), this project was completed under the guidance of Prof. Carlos Alvarado as part of the Mechanical Engineering Department at PUPR. This page includes a breakdown of the validation process in video format.
